I have read that it is easy to make money writing an ebook and publishing it on google, it all sounds to good to be true has anyone had experience good or bad in doing this?

My father is a well known author and has tried this. It wasn't particularly hard to get going, but he made almost no money from it. He is a best-seller abroad when it comes to actual 'written' books, but e-books just didn't sell. So my advice would be do it because you want to - but don't do it to make money!
