Australia working holiday age restrictions
Hi all,
I'm thinking about going applying for one of thoses working holiday visa jobbies for either Aus or NZ, undecided yet.
My dilemma is I will be 30 years young in October. Therefore i need to know if i need to land before i hit the big 3-0, or if i can get the stamp, and then leave it a few months and go over early next year.
Obviously i will be 30 by this time, however i will have recieved the visa before i hit 30 and you have a year following the expiry of the visa to put it to use.
Would i encounter any problems?
any advice is much appreciated.

But beware that it may take a month or more to process the visa application. And I can't find anything to back this up but also nothing to contradict this. Maybe you should contact the australian embassy or something?
Hi Beamer
Applied for my visa for Australia when I was 30, and went a few months later. As far as I can tell you need to enter within 12 months of receiving your visa, so I would assume that means even if you have turned 31. I am now 31, sitting in a call centre in Sydney and don't regret a minute of it. Hope you decide to do it. By the way I applied for my visa online and received it within 24 hours of applying. Good luck

Good luck, it's the best country in the world!
