Whatstandwell Summer Quiz 2005
4 Answers
This quiz poses blocks of 5 questions for which the answers have a link which you need to identify. I'm struggling on one particular link.
The 5 questions and my answers are:
Q: Female star of "The Woman in Red"
A: Kelly Le Brock (or possibly Barbara Stanwyck)
Q: Politician who in the 1960s ad 1970s served as Chancellor of the Exchequer, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary and Prime Minister
A: James Callaghan
Q: Better known title of the Duke of Cornwall
A: Prince Charles/Prince of Wales
Q: TV show of the 1980s written by, directed by and also starring Michael Landon
A: Highway to Heaven (or possibly Little House on the Prairie)
Q: Arrangement of ropes and pulleys used for hoisting or pulling
A: Block and tackle
Can anyone spot the link between these 5 answers? The only thing I can think of is "outlaws" (Ned Kelly, Jesse James, Josey Wales, but I can't link the last two). Or can anyone spot an incorrect answer?
