Wine tasting evenings!.......would you spit or swallow?

We are off to a wine tasting evening soon

Have you ever been?....what did you do?

Would you just use it to get sloshed, or spit in the bucket as you're supposed too?

I can behave if the occasion demand it yogi. Like I said - there was only that one occasion when everyone else was poshly spitting (how can you spit post??!) that I followed suit. What a waste though.

I find it soothes a sore throat. A bit like Glycerin coating the walls. Though, never ever too much - it can make you nauseous after a while.

Sqad, it's a private function booked wine tasting, so MAY have to be done the proper way.......hope not....... but may be able to get away with a few sly ones!
Problem will be, that we'll all be in a huddle or group to give our opinions, so will have to find a crafty corner to knock it back!!!

I'd probably try to catch the dribbles myself (I'm using the conditional tense here, because I don't often spill or dribble, unless I'm really trolleyed).

I went to Manchester C tesco wine club last year . It funny how every body start of by bean a little bit snobby IE ( swill it around the glass have a little sniff say hint of lemon bit fruity etc)

But by the end of the 4hr session it get it down your neck before thay Chuck us out . I going again this year
