Ankle tattoo designs?

Anybody know any good websites for tattoo designs, i really fancy one going from my foot up onto my ankle, something delicate and feminine, possibly floral.

Wont be getting it done for a while yet as im 6 mths pregnant, but just looking for some inspiration, to pass the time.

Hmmm the word TATTOO written across my ankle wasnt quite the look i was going for MWB. lol. Maybe i should get my fiance's name in a love heart, Chris Forever. Haha. That will be right! :P

Bunnygirl you really need to be careful with ankle designs......................best to keep them feminine............some ankle tattoos can look quite coarse......I like floral..good choice.:-)

Yeah i agree with u there Razzle09, i dont want to look butch. lol.I tend to dress quite feminine so dont want anything heavy and in your face.

I cant give you the sites but there are some really nice fine japanese tatts. I have a theme taken off the 'wave' on my tattoo which is quite large, but out of sight, and if you mix that with a personal theme such as flowers, stars or something else it will look good.....I know this may sound a bit off centre... but if you wait until the baby is born you may develop a greater sense or image of what you want. Maternal preoccupation and tattoos just don't mix. Good luck.

Nah i know what you mean, lol. I wont be making any permanent decisions at the moment, in my hormonal state, or il end up with fluffy bunnys and clouds and rainbows or something, being preggers makes me a bit soft in the head. Haha. Im more just getting a collection of ideas together at the moment.

Japanese designs...hmmm il need to check that out.

I actually have one of the tattoos above (in colour though)... The flowers on these tattoos are lovely but they're lovely because they're quite big. The thing about being tattooed in the ankle area (other than it will hurt like hell) is that small but detailed flowers will turn in to blobs over the years, I think they'd do that even with work to be honest.

However if you have your hear set on the ankle area then as opposed to flowers, how about stars? The design would be less fussy and probably last longer, something like below.

On a personal note, I think I prefer black and white in this area rather than colour

Oh right, never realised they would go all blobby looking...dont like the idea of that. lol. If i do go for floral il take your advice and go for slightly bigger flowers then.

Ive got tattoos on my bikini area and very low down on my back so im used to tattoos in nippy places...although i fainted with the 2nd one....was mortified!

I like those floral designs ChinaDoll, theres one on the top left thats really nice.

Im not too sure about stars, i really do like them on people, but i just worry how id feel about them when im 40 odd.

Im a flower mad, Charlie Dimmock wannabe, so think its flowers all the way for me. :D
