Cheers guys - much appreciated - not so much a little guy - measured him today and he is 4 foot 9 and still a month to go until he is 9, in terms of maturity though he is still very much a little boy and is not streetwise at all - he went of to bed quite happy tonight because he told me what was going on and fully expects me to completely sort it out. And I guess so he should, I know it will change as he gets older, but he still sees us as the centre of his universe with the power to do anything. Not much pressure then!!
No matter how big he is (age or size) he will always be "your little boy !
I remember the first guy my daughter lived with started treating her like sh!t & she phoned me in tears one night - well, I can tell you - I was ready to go over there & beat his brains out !!!
There's NO-WAY anyone treats my "little girl" like that & gets away with it !
(she was 23 at the time !!!)

Hi guys in case you are watching for an update, thanks for all your kind words, Head teacher spoke to my son and his friends today (individually) to get the full story - she hasn't spoken to the bullies yet, but one has already been given detention for the kicking incident as it was corroborated by my sons friend - they were all glad for an opportunity to get it of their chests. I told them all how brave they are and how proud I am of them for having the courage to speak up. I have insisted that the parents are told and if they are not, I will. The punishment had better be more than a detention as well.

As you say, once a bully always a bully I think, I guess they will just move onto another target, but you have to protect your own and I can't do any more than that, unless........

where's that baseball bat?
