alton towers water park

Hi..
its a bit of a random and silly question but is the water park indooors or outdoors?!
has any one visited there lately? was it good?

The water park is indoors, and is part of the hotel complex.

The web site indicates that you can now book tickets for the waterpark without staying at the hotel (I did not know that).

I did look round the hotels and water park last year (but never stayed there) but the water park did not look that big.

A reasonable size, but not huge.

I have just noticed some of it is outside (I did not realise that when I walked round the hotel)

There's a bit outside and a bit inside ( a bit like center parcs if you've been there,but not as big).According to my daughter it aint really up to much!
