Am in need of a job as am a bit skinned and canny go out with ma friends.I am 13 , I live in the hamilton area but there doesnt seem to be anything, a can work any day i am very commited and willing. does any body know ??

at 13 i think you can get a paper round.  Why not help around the house/cut lawns /wash cars for relatives

or sell some stuff on ebay

Hi Alex, Hope it's working better for you. I'm from Hamilton also, it can be tough to find casual work there. Ebay is a really good option, you would need to get your parents to set up an account, and you can run it and sell the stuff. You need to be careful, but you can make good money doing it. Buy stuff at car boot sales or auctions or even some new computing stuff bought cheaply in shops can be sold at a profit. Good luck.

13 is the minimum age to have a paper round and usually u can do it mornings and evenings if they deliver a local paper. this could bring u in about �15 - 20 a week if u do both. Unfortunately most other jobs are seriously restricting because of your age but i want to say well done u for realising u are bored and wanting to do something constructive and hard working than do what most youngsters that are bored do and get into mischief. So well done

I agree with kazza's suggestions (although I don't think you can legally sell on ebay aged 13).
