You may askor nothave you any children sqad and what are your thoughts on fatherhood?
Yes, I was born a baby but soon developed extraordinary intellectual talents before the age of 5yrs and did my first brain operation at the age of 10yrs old, so you can see that you are dealing with someone quite special here.
4 sons.two total w@nkers and the other two have done well in their lives50% success ratenot too bad I suppose. Effect on my life as a father?..the first birth was a bit of a novelty, reading that stupid book by Dr Spock, now discredited and taking him out in a pram into the park to feed the ducks on a Sunday morning, although I wish now that I had kept the bread and fed HIM to the ducks.
Subsequent births"no big deal" seen it all before and got the teeshirts..could have let the family spoil my career ,but no chance of thatcareer first and family second and I would do the same again. " Knife before wife" LOL
I did all the usual thingstook them to football and cricket, tried to install a code of ethics and decency and indicated a goal of lifetime achievement built upon hard work and endeavour.
sqad...your early upbringing was disappointing for you which could be the cause of your inability to bond with your kids (not their fault). You can be certain they have bonded with you - since you always provided for them. They are the ones who will care for you in your dotage - I promise;)
As for controlling their life's path & futures.....parents can try but kids rebel. From my v.stable, via perfect parents, upbringing I allow mine to follow their chosen path & guide when asked.
tambo I feel priveliged to be brought up, the way that I had been. I never knew my father, my sister was my mother as you know and was brought up by my grandfather and grandmother.
I spoke to my father on the phone 20yrs ago and he didn't want to know....I don't blame him....he died 3yrs ago.
My maternal mother died 2yrs ago and I never mourned...no grief at all.
All four boys have now families and their own philosophies and my TOTAL allegience is to Mrs sqad and NOT the family and they all know that.
bit on the side sara?!!
I'm more than a bread roll or a side salad. I am a full roast dinner with all the trimmings!
Tam: I hope I'm wrong, but somehow I can't imagine those two "w@nkers" looking after our sqad in his dotage! (I'm having images of him sat on a commode looking like Evadne Hinge.
its only your opinion sqad, your opinion does not represent all male opinion, but a percentage I am sure. maybe you assume its more because you feel this way (similar to the infidelity debate)
