If you are not expecting any mail from aim.com, you could set up a message rule to forward any mail with aim.com in the sender's name to your deleted items.

Squarebear; how do I set that up? It sonds the perfect solution.
it depends on what you use to get your mail as to how you setup a mail rule to delete the spam mails

outlook?

outlook express?

webmail of some sort?

I'm on AOL, Chuck:
well that explains it then

mails that are from address that end @AIM are actually from AOL.

you may find it hard to stop them as obviously AOL does not want you to filter out their own emails.

I really don't know anything about the AOL email Client but a quick google came up with this
