What's worse; not voting, or voting for someone whose views don't represent your own?

By servant, I simply meant someone who serves, the service provided being representation.
It's not really the word compulsory that upsets me, it's the compulsion itself. It would be just as objectionable to me by another name.
It's not just the act of voting that would be a pain; I don't want political parties going out of their way to "engage me" in their nonsense. I live in an area where it's all too easy for them to drop dozens of propaganda leaflets through my letterbox each time elections come round. I don't want more of the stuff!
What parties do before elections isn't the sort of engagement I want. It's what happens the rest of the time after they've been elected that I'm interested in.
