I read the other day that snake venom is a preventative remedy for varicose veins, deadly nightshade for sinus trouble and poison ivy for arthritis. Is this true and if so, where can I get them?

Heh ... poison ivy's easy- just go romp around in the woods! I don't have an answer for your question, but more of a warning about home remedies. I used to read quite a bit about them and experiment. Although, some of them are legit., some are completely useless and often dangerous. I almost bought something called colloidal silver.
