Assault is assault - it's not difficult to reconcile that fact.

The farmer who assaulted Prescott should have been prosecuted, Prescott should have been prosecuted for his retaliation.

Violence is never acceptable as protest - and it is only a matter of degree, the thinking and action are fundamentally the same.

The BNP will play their 'reasonable people / elected representatives' to the hilt now, but like it nor not, they are elected, and chucking eggs about is not going to alter that fact.
