"Copyright first developed in the early modern period as a response to the growth of the printing technology that facilitated the rapid multiplication and distribution of copies of written works."

MacQueen, Waelde & Laurie, Contemporary Intellectual Property, Oxford University Press, p.41

Discuss the extent to which the development of copyright has continued as a response to new technology, and evaluate whether this development is consistent with the underlying rationale for copyright.

While you are correct, it helps if you ask a question. These end in '?'
I'm sure we have an answer. It's just that the 'question' reads like something from a test or a question in coursework. I have no intention of doing a student's work or essay for them. What good does it do ? The whole point of teaching and testing is for the student to know the answer, not some stranger. It's not what AB is for. There are essay writing services out there (they don't admit to doing more than 'helping') which you may use, for a fee, if your conscience allows it (and any anti-plagiarism software doesn't catch you out)
