MM and KM Links June [Week 2]

I've just come in from the garden having planted up three troughs with bedding plants that I bought a week or so ago ~ talk about being pot bound! (me or the plants I hear you ask?) With the weather improving, it's time to make a serious assault on the garden. Last week I had an "arboreal sculptor" trim my seven Manchester Poplars and Mrs Crofter is talking about block paving the drive and replacing three five-bar gates. This is SKI-ing big style!

I better be on my toes tomorrow for the launches. By the way, that's how an acrobat gets his name (as in acro-nym, acro-phobia, acro-polis etc) by walking on the tips of his toes! I digress! I need to keep an eye on The Godfather's second launch of MM Links, and make sure that Aquagility doesn't pull ahead in the KM Links!

If I am talking double Dutch to you, then you have not yet taken part in the Links games. The first these should open tomorrow at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am for Week 2 of our Link Game. However, it will also be the second week for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at an earlier time. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

Hi all...just had to drop daughter off in Manchester with gang of mates...well Sarumite did...as he is here in the wild North staying with us.

Dustybun...I started it last year. Sarumite came to visit me, and I invited anyone in the area who had become friendly in the shrubbery to come for a BBQ...so this year a few of us are meeting at Laney's...so it has become the AGM now!!

The shrubbery is quiet tonight...

Meant to add...I think Sarumite did very well with a carful of young ladies...scantily clad...and giggling away.

He will kill me if I tell you, they said he is 'cute!'

Hi and goodnight. Have spent all evening on an errand of mercy. Had an injured pigeon in my garden and I am scared of birds, so eventually got a friend to come and catch it. (I had been to my daughters and borrowed her cat carrying case) We then took it to the vet ,who i had rung earlier, and left it for it to be reviewed tomorrow. I think its wing is damaged so don't think there is a lot of hope but at least the foxes won't get it tonight. (I do get foxes in my garden) Didn't get back until gone 10pm then friend had a drink and has only been gone about 30 mins!!!! Am very tired so Goodnight anyone out there !!!!!
