A white supremacist who shot dead a security guard at Washington's Holocaust Museum had links to the British National Party.

Before launching the attack, 88-year-old James von Brunn sent out an email claiming: 'It's time to kill all the Jews.'

Von Brunn was shot and wounded by museum security officers after he walked into the packed tourist attraction and began firing indiscriminately.

Last night, it emerged that von Brunn had attended meetings of the American Friends of the British National Party in Arlington, Virginia.

The irony of this post isn't lost on me. JNO suggests the BNP is culpable for the actions of anyone sharing a very tenuous link with the party but vehemently defends Muslims against any responsibility for terrorist actions against the west.

Andrew Brons, who has just been elected an a BNP MEP started his political career in the National Socialist Movement, founded in honour of Hitler. This group of human waste products were responsible for anti-Semetic attacks on Jewish owned businesses in the 1960s.

Why do the BNP attrack filth like that?

did I say that, Booldawg? I can't remember when, but maybe it was removed. Anyway, a distinction might be that you're a Muslim by birth/upbringing but a BNP member from adult choice. (I know a few Islamic terrorists have been converts, but they seem to be very much in the minority.)

Whether the BNP can find many friends in the European parliament remains to be seen. There are some Polish MEPs who think "the affirmation of homosexuality will lead to the downfall of civilization" and climate change is a lie, want abortion laws tightened (it is still mostly illegal in Poland), and oppose euthanasia...

...but they're already allied to the Tories.
