Hi there,

I read somewhere along the line that you had been 'banned' for posting too many answers. Is this true? It seems to me that if it is, the bounds of absurdity have been well and truly (I'll let you fill in the next word). HW

Yes, I was banned last weekend & had to use "Laid-up..."

I tried again on Tues (I think) but was still persona non grata! All ok as of yesterday...

When I posted an answer, the site came back with "Page can't be found" (or some such), so I'd go back, redo it & post again - counts as 2 answers?

It's not as though my dial-up can outpace all the people on broadband!

I am not fawning in any way but it is widely regarded that you are the best on ths site (with which I agree) - to be banned suggests that there is a bit of jealously somewhere - if I get banned for this I'm going to change my name to Hurry-Wrugg. For (I'll let you fill in the next word) sakes it's only a Quizzes & Puzzles forum.

I think a poster is banned for posting more than 10 answers in 5 minutes (shouldn't affect me as my brain doesn't work quick enough).
