What are they supposed to do ? The most specific claim I have senn is 'may aid digestion', and I'm not sure what that means either, exaxtly.

Biotic drinks are supposed to be full of many useful acids and other benefits. However, according to the food industry, the acid in our stomach is so strong that it kills all the helpful bacteria etc before it gets a chance to do us any good.
