Hi

Just burnt a cd and set the id3 tags before burning. I now find that they are not being read by my PC using Winamp or real player and when listed the file reads only as track 1, track 2 etc.

The CD has written correctly as the tags are read ok by the in car stereo.

A shop bought CD is also not reading on the PC.

Is there a setting somewhere (XP - sp2) that switches this read on and off??

Thanks

Audio CD's do not contain ID3 tags - thats a feature of the m3 format. You car stereo is more likely reading CDTEXT (which most media players wont pickup).
