Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Why dont people look at previous postings? This morning shrug and speedster have been answered several times. I agree AB can be difficult looking back over several days, but same morning (and same page!) should be easy.

I'm fine Lie-In, and see you are in your usual sparkling form. I just find it odd that a question is asked and then asked again and again. People dont bother looking it seems. I dont get irritated by people not giving the clues either! (much) : o )

I should have made it clear that I was agreeing with your thread - not with dzug's choice of words - sorry dzug! :-)

I think that because it's Sunday, people want to finish as quickly as possible & get onto other things.

I enjoy (sad, I know!) guessing which answer will have been the most requested by the end of the day...

Don't come into this bit much, but notice the same thing in TV and adverts. Used to pee me off a bit too, but now I just see it as a further indication that I'm not as thick or lazy as some, and I feel good!

Lie-in, last Sunday I answered a question, to which you had got in first, so no surprise there. I then commented that I had tried to beat you and failed so would go off and do some housework. Later a poster added that I needed to get a life. I agree with the poster!

p.s. re the OP: you can nearly always rely on someone to do the hard work for you (I quite often provide answers that I've seen in other threads).

Thoroughly agree - I always look back to where I need to and if it hasn't been answered and I can't find it from my usual sources then I post. Also what is bugging is people not saying thank you!

Celtigra, this lack of thanks I cannot understand. Sometimes I spend ages finding out an answer and proudly post it. Then there is nothing, no stars, no acknowledgement, no thanks and you think - why did I bother!
