AB ED when you have set up the new chatty thread can we keep all the other categories free of chat? I have noticed one user has suggested we should carry on chatting surely this would defeat the object of the new talk category.

Hi in4themoney et al,

The rationale behind the new category is to provide an area where people can chat, which should (hopefully) keep the other categories relatively free of chat. Discussions that directly pertain to the topic/initial Question will still be okay.

We cannot guarantee what other members' intentions will be, but once the category is live we will take a more stringent line with deviations in the main AnswerBank site.
