up till yesterday my internet connection on my laptop was sound no probs at all,lastnight i lost connection on my laptop and my pc i tried everything to reconnect and it wouldnt let me.after couple hours it was back to normal,now its gone again but my kids and partners pcs are ok and ive got nothing

don't contact isp - don't do a system restore
DO setup your connection again
(also first just check that the wireless card is switched on - it's easy to knock it off when you are trying the poke and hope fix method)

if everyone else's is ok, it's obviously your machine ...
the obvious guess is that (in true windows style) it's forgotten you


just run the wizard - answer the questions ... and come back if no joy.

if you are using a laptop then there should be an icon near the clock showing your wireless connection. you should be able to click on it and choose connection settings.

although i would try AC's suggestion first. make sure the wireless is activated.

easiest is from control panel
double click the

wireless network setup wizard

you need the network name (ssid( and the encryption key (out of the bok - both are generally on a lable on the back of the router)

then just answer the questions
