Since changing to a Belkin router we have lost file & printer sharing. Before changing all 4 computers were hard wired but now 1 of them is wireless. All computers can connect to the internet. Please help!

Are all the computers in the same workgroup?
which of the 1000 routers belkin make are we talking about
what was the old router - did it have a print server .... how did you share the printer before

mentalo the mind reader I'm not
Question Author
Yes all computers are in same workgroup
New router is Belkin N150
Old router was a Dynamode
When setting up network originally we just enabled printer sharing on the wizard
What firewall are you running on the computers, if you have changed your router it has very likely changed the IP address range you are now using, the new range will very likely have to be added as a trusted network before sharing will work.
it's like pulling teeth
printer connected to a pc - print server ... cmon - what versions of windows ... what else is there ?
is the laptop 802.11n?

there is something in the back of my mind that in security settings - there is a tickbox that seperates network connections (and so stops sharing) - remove the tick enables sharing

I'm not looking at this time ...
