hi there, hope someone can help. back in Jan 09 i booked a hol to tenerife for me, other half, daughter and her mate, i booked online and paid low deposit of �30 each with the other �100 each to follow 8 weeks later, during this time, my daughters mate pulled out and another stepped in and paid the remaining �100 of the deposit. i had not changed the names from mate 1 to mate 2 as i had til june 26th to do it by (which i did intend to do) now mate 2 has dropped out and wants her �100 back. i dont mind reimbursing her, but is she entitled to it back as deposits are non refundable even though i did not change her name on the booking. sorry if it sounds long winded! TIA

Thanx leggy, i have told her its non refundable, but iv been getting texts from her mother now saying unless i can provide proof that she was on the booking she wants the money back or she'l take it further, can she and would it look as if iv stolen her �100 as we hadnt changed the original booking to friend 2's name?

if you have booke3d for a 4 person holiday and the price you pay is based on that, then someone dropping out means you all pay more to cover that loss and so it is going to cost you all more, she should be reimbursing you that amount!!!

what hotels /apartments have you stayed in before?

ur rite there dot. i did try telling her about 15 times that it was non refundable but it was like banging my head against a brick wall!

stayed in piramides twice, staying in columbus hotel this year

columbus is ok
right above nettos and theres a nice irish pub the chieftan under it

a bit pricey but i know the woman who does the cooking there and the foods nice

not too far from mercadonas fro your shopping and theres a few nice chinesee.

only a few hundred yard up from the pyramides really

and still far enough away from las floritas and the oro negro to avoid all the prostitutes at night time

lol beta keep hubby away from there then! i sampled one of the chinese eat as much as u like menus last year, really good it was. really looking forward to going back to branigans bar, top nite there. u living in los cris or just on hol?

if friend number 1 is now going again then surely they should pay the �100 to you and you can pass it straight back to the 2nd friend.
