A friend's little girl has just come back from a holiday in New York. Asked what she did there, she replied "It was great - we went to the Empire Strikes Back Building".
I wonder if she also visited Times-they-are-a-changing Square and the Statue of Liberty Bodice while she was in the Big Toffee Apple? Any advances?

Therefore not funny. :-(
However, flicking food at them is funny. Pulling faces at them is funny, especially when they pull one back in sight of mum or dad, and you then deny all knowledge of starting it....

absolutely salla - I didn't live here when it happened, but i do work with people who were affected - 1 former colleagues daughter was shot and wounded. Despite all of that, i sometimes get caught out putting my foot in it. And although my kids don't go to Dunblane primary, I heard a group of kids at school getting a telling off for making pretend guns at the homework club as they woman said to them - guns have no place in school, pretend or otherwise.
My personal prefence is to dangle kids by the ankles until they give in - but flicking stuff at them is good too :o)
