Prickley Heat

I have recently began to suffer from prickley heat on my neck but the tablets I was prescribed by the doctor don't offer any relief. I'm going on holiday soon so obviously I'll suffer more than in England even though I try and stay out of the sun as much as possible. Any tried and tested solutions?

I get terrible prickly heat, and nothing i have bought in the UK works on it.
Not sure where you are going to, but i always go to local pharmacies abroad and tend to get very good remedies from them.
I would watch out for Lotradina tablets, which i usually stock up on in spain, the 5, 10 and 15mg tablets are all good.

The thing you should definately get- i know you can buy it in Greece, Turkey and Germany, but probably elsewhere in europe, is FENISTIL Gel. It comes in an orange/red tube, and is a clear gel.
It is AMAZING stuff. The only thing that immediately soothes my rash. Cant get it over here, but do loo for it if you go abroad.

Try Magicool. It's a little aerosol can that sprays a mist of water. They do one specifically for prickly heat (contains something in the water). It instantly stops the itching and used repeatedly as per the instructions, the prickly heat goes away.

My back was covered in bumps last year and it was best thing I tried.

soda water and lime or tonic water and lime i was told...(drink it haha not apply it) haha xx

got it bad as a child and had to take sulphur tablets , not sure if they are still around (was the dark ages ) enjoy the hols

have you tried caldecene powder its used for babies but really works with prickly heat believe me i have used it. try some anti histamines

I got its all over my legs and tummy last year because I used wrong lotion. Pizbuin allergy lotion is marvelous though and I didnt get one bit using this along with taking antihistamines

my friend swears by lotradine and always stocks up when on hols. One improtant thing is to ensure you use oil free lotion - piz buin is the best. I have actually got this for the first time just this month - fortunately I just took an off the counter anti hystamine and seems to be ok - not really been hot and sunny here since.

sorry I now see the post a couple before mine - obviously allergy piz buin worked for them but that is not what I was mentioning. The one I recommend just states oil free on the bottle.
