hi all up date on my case : 9 weeks on the police have arested me for ABH and i had my interveiw the other day. had not had a single phone call from them untill the other day but the guy i hit has pressed charges . In the interveiw i have been told i have broken his nose . The fact are still the same we had an arguement on the train platform after he pushed me and also used his bike to push into me. I lost it and hit him just one time . i have no police record and have never been in trouble before .(age 38) i also reported it 60 mins after it had happened and put my hands up to being in the wrong . not planed single puntch red mist . i came in on the day they asked and had my interveiw and was told on the day that they wont make a decision untill end off July (Why so long) i have to go back to be told on this day .I think this is going to go to court as it was an easy case for them as i have always said i was in the wrong even if provoked still wrong. What do you think will be the out come and sentance as i just wont this all over and get back on with my boaring normal life.

So it's taken the Police 9 weeks to interview you over an allegation that you've broken someone's nose? And now you've been released on Bail until the end of July pending a decision to charge you or not?
Were you actually arrested the other day or just interviewed under caution? Was this British Transport Police? Did you have, or were you offered, free legal representation during your time in custody?
This sounds like an absolute mess to me from the Police point of view. Unless there are things you haven't told us? Why has it taken so long? Could they not contact you?

(british transport police) they phonw me a few times , then i never had any think else till 3 days ago when they phone me to tell me i was going to be arested for abh . i came in for arrest by appointment was then interveiwed about the events shown the pictures and asked some stuff . (did not take representation ) and have been bailed till 26 july when they wont me to come back to see if im going to be charged or not . all seems a little bit odd to me . going to get some legal help on friday and have the tape sent to them
