Mavisbank Inscription

[Jargon]

On the original series of BBC's Restoratino they featured a building up in scotland, Mavisbank House and on the front there was an inscription in latin, they also translated it.

I was wondering if anyone knew the inscription or where I could find it, preferably with translation. I've been looking for it on the net but haven't had any luck. Can anyone help.

I'm sure you've found http://www.mavisbank.org.uk.  Did you also spot that you can email them - the address is given on the site.  Perhaps they can help you.

Sorry not to give an answer, and that my advice was fairly obvious.  But I did TRY to find something better - but failed miserably!!!
