I have a booster with 6 way plugs, I can watch through a way i dont know 3 different channels around the house at the same time Sky Freeview and terrestrial. But i have a problem of a poor sky signal upstairs, and after consulting my local Dixons the chap said he was surprised i would get a signal at all and suggested an industrial booster like they use in the large stores. Only problem he said they were 700 and i could do with some more imput before i go down that route as i am skint

even though you have a booster, the sky signal going in is obviously not the same power as the freeview box. I take it you have a dish correctly aligned, and with clear line of sight. Check state of the cable into and out of the sky box. is it in good condition? Check the signal strength in Services menu, it should be at least half way along the measure.
