iv just been diagnosed with this.. any one got it.. or had any treatment for it..
iv been given anti inflamatrys, but dont want to mask it and make it worse. its really painfull though!!!

Can i ask how you ended up with a sore coccyx? Is it swollen at present?

I hit my coccyx on the edge of a door many years ago - ended up in hospital, operation etc...and my coccyx still gets sore when i sit for long periods ie. cinema, long journey etc...so the only thing is to not sit still for too long and if it gets sore, try some Brufen...if the coccyx area starts to swell up, see the Dr immediately, as you may need antibiotics - a knock to the coccyx can cause something called a 'pilonidal sinus'....*ouch ouch*

How would I know if it was swollen.. ?!
