Any idea's for a good car to downsize from a Vauxhall Zafira but still with good boot space ?
We have got a 1.8L petrol but considering going for something a bit smaller in size and cheaper to run without losing too much boot space.

Thanks in advance.

how about an audi a2 a bit older but similar size,
diesel - instead of petrol.
although if its seating capacity then its not for you
good luck
Hi, the trouble with downsize is looking for power that you do not have!!!! 1800CC to a 1400 cc, what is your Zafira doing to the Gallon? if you think it's not doing well there are many things that contribute to low MPG, Eg/ tyre pressures, roof racks, badly serviced, the main cause is the RIGHT FOOT, also gear changing. what does the book give you? if it's below 40 + on a motorway get it serviced.

TWR- i have a 1.2 corsa that i can get below 40 mpg with motorway usage can get 43 on a good week - how do you expect an 1800 zaffy to get that apart from on a trailer.
sorry for going off topic slightly
