On the one hand MPs maintain that being an MP is a full time job and should have a higher basic salary or the right to claim huge expenses , but they also want to keep their outside jobs. In other words they want the right to be part-timers . So should they only be paid for the actual work they do as MPs.?

No they should all get �5.73 per hour and clock in at work and prove they bothered turning up
No, but if they were all electronically tagged, we'd know where they'd been?
Then we could pay them accordingly, couldn't we?
They should get paid by results
