Is this a Florida Government Office?

I've been sent an e-mail telling me a deceased relative of mine has a listing for 'an unclaimed insurance policy' on this site. I have checked and it looks official, but, I am extremely surprised as well as amazed that the insurance company didn't just send some forms to the addess, which is where my brother lives, they list on the site?

Sad to say I have become very suspicious of any unexpected 'windfall'.

I would appreciate and welcome any advice or plan of action.

I assume you actually have some relatives in Florida?

If it was genuine why would they email you, and where would they have got your email address from.
If they ask for any upfront payment or bank account details then I'd be wary.
Maybe they make their money from the cost of your call to Florida.
I'd be very surprised if this was genuine, but good luck

There are lots of companies like this. They make money by taking a % of any inheritance you are entitled to that you didn't know about.

If they are going to give you money then go for it but if they ask for any fee or up front report them.

I have that same feeling factor30.

I have heard of 'some' genuine companies cassa333, but the good ones are not always easy to identify. And the bad ones can give you maximum grief in the wink of an eye.
