printer cartridges

I recently bought a Lexmark 3 in one printer model X3690 and while results are good cartridges are very expensive and it seems are only available from three major suppliers and all seem to be the same price. Any suggestions. Thanks

Buy a refill kit and refill it yourself. You will get a warning message to say the cartridge ink level is low every time you go to print something, but you can just click on the cancel button and it will print - well that's what happens here (different model of printer though). I usually do 3 refills before I invest in a new cartridge which does bring the cost down a fair bit.
