can you feed any plants with beer?

I have been cleaning my garage and found some out of date cans of beer i know it is good for catching snails but was wondering if anybody know if you can use it as a feed for plants

watering houseplants with stale beer is most certainly good for the houseplants. It makes them much greener and healthier looking. I am not sure why, but it does work. hi yogi and a v.

I must admit to having cleared my garage out this week.....the council kindly picked all the crap up for the princely sum of �28.00.............my beer however is definitely all within it's drink by date.....and the wine.....and the spirits............I could actually live in my garage quite happily....
