By the time you read this, I shall be well on my way to Seahouses on the Northumbrian Coast with my son, Daniel. We are taking part in a Stag "Do" ~ namely a fishing trip [planned for tomorrow] off the Farne Islands My niece, Andrea, is to marry John next month and I have been designated to stand in as "father of the bride". I've always wanted to go off fishing although I fully expect to suffer a bout of sea-sickness! I have my "pills" to help me through the ordeal.
As for my "garden guest", the score is still mole 1 crofter0 ~ although Mr Mole has upped the ante by beginning to burrow in my lawn area! WWIII has just been declared against The Underworld!
Talking of which, tomorrow will be the last week in the reign of Don Corleone aka deecee131. Unfortunately, Don will be setting off early to umpire a cricket match ~ so he too is unavailable for MM Links duty. However, we are most fortunate in having my very good friend gen2 as a very worthy substitute on such occasions.
Tomorrow, you need to be ready for the launches of both link games. The first of these should be opened tomorrow at 8.45am by gen2 in preparation to declare the four words [set by Don] to be linked. According to normal practice these four words will be declared at 9.00am for the final week of our MM Links Game. However, it will also be the final week for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at an earlier time. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.
miss meg...we took her in at 4 weeks as a 'dumped' kitten.
We had to spoon feed her and nurse her around the clock, but she survived...and then this...
She is a fighter!
I was miss meg!!! You have a good memory!
This cat has really pulled on my heartstrings...I have felt so sorry for her.
When the girls were little...I was having none.!!....then along came cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, budgies...even an African Grey Parrot once...now with an Uncle...as it swore...my late sister's doing!
My daughter and my 2 lovely grandsons have just arrived from Brixham. My boys have grown and Sam has lost 2 front teeth since I last saw him. Will be back later
Enjoy them being there...I think Sarumite is sneaking around the shrubbery somewhere....I let him go back to Salisbury last Friday...so he should be resetlled now..and high on his mushrooms!
Have a lovely time in Brixham Kay.
So glad to hear Mya is responding to treatment Pauline I expect you are relieved.
Still no luck, even with some instruction from the Management am awaiting further news!!
Glad to hear good news of your cat. WHAT a good job she's insured!
Am still trying to persuade my two that fighting is not wise, and that straying at night on to another cat's territory is likely to arouse its anger. But do they listen?
Looking forward to tomorrow's links, though as far as I can remember I have 1 point in one of them and none in the other; I knew that first month was beginner's luck!
