Radiohead Live 8

how come radiohead aren't going to perform, i thought they they were trying to be a really political band (lots of their songs have political messages and thom was recently on channel 4 discussing pollution and emssions).  They are still playing together so its not that, it could be that it's because they are working o a new album or just because they dont want anything to do with the more pop aspects of live 8. But that hasnt stopped REM or U2 and what happened to the rumour of pink floyd regrouping for live 8?

If so, never in a million years. Even without RW, I have heard Nick Mason say on the radio that PF will not work together again.

yeh im pretty sure that was what the rumour was, abit like the one about spice girls reuniting, maybe just a rumour or perhaps Pink Floyd simply said no, anyway its a shame i was really looking forward to a live David Gilmour solo.
