hair conditioner

i have thick hair and since i was ill its been dry .had high lights done last week ..any one recommend a good conditioner ? been using elvive .thanks

I have thick coarse highlighted hair and I find that the Aussie 3 minute miracle is great.
I also use an intensive conditioner once a week. Best way to use them is to leave it on overnight or for as long as you can and cover with clingfilm. You will really notice a difference.

Doh! Was going to recommend 3 Minute Miracle as well - it is great. I also like the VO5 hot oil that comes in a little tube.

Did your stylist not recommend what they used in the salon? I would strongly recommend professional products as they tend to contain better quality ingredients and normally the stylist would be able to suggest the correct product for your hair type///

vo5 hot oil is good have used it b4 ..i got some toni and guy stuff and a leave in conditioner its helped a lot hair feels a lot better .

I've got thick course and slightly wavy hair and struggled with my hair for years until I decided to spend a bit more and use salon products. I swear by them now and would not use anything else. My hair is silky smooth and really light.
I personally use TIGI or Label M and I buy it on the net (Ebay's excellent) so it's about 1/2 the price of the salon.
I now get that lovely hair feeling that you have when you leave the hair dressers.

I've tried most shampoos and conditioners in the shops including the Aussie range and yes Aussie is definitely the best of the supermarket range but still no where near as good as salon products.
