Outlook Express 6

I am using Outlook Express 6 for my emails but today the icons along the top toolbar have suddenly more than halved in size can anyone tell me why ? and more to the point how do I get them back to the original size ?...

Right-click the toolbar
Choose Customize
At bottom left select Large Icons from the dropdown list
Click Close
