Dough cake
2 Answers
Way back in the dark ages, 1950s. I worked at the local Co-op bakery where they used to make Dough cake, nearest thing is I suppose Bread pudding but doughcake was much more dense, much firmer and when you'd a slice you knew you'd had it. Can't find anything out about it, nobodys even heard of it. Not Lardy cake!
