Broken beak
3 Answers
My father-in-law has an aviary and his cockatiels have produced two gorgeous offspring. These birds are fledglings now and he has noticed that one of them has broken a large section off of the top part of it's beak - this isn't a problem for it now as it is still being fed by it's parents, but it will not be able to eat seeds by itself.
Will it manage on a diet of soft foods, or is it going to have to be put down?
