I am growing a Scotch Bonnet Chilli plant in my kitchen window and it seems to have been infested with what i believe are greenfly. I have brought some spray for this but the leaves are starting to look a little discoloured and patchy now, will my plant now be beyond help?? What do the greenfly actually do to the plant?? Do they eat it?

TIA

yes, they eat it. They feed by sucking the good bits out of the leaves. Kill them all and give your plants some tlc and they should recover. Try feeding them and keep checking for bugs so that you catch the entire life cycle.
Give the leaves a good spray with some tepic soapy water. It will probably help if you can move the chilli plant outside into the fresh air as lack of ventilation is probably encouraging the greenfly to thrive.
