Has anyone ever heard of a DOGFOX my mate swore he sore what looked like a cross between a fox and a dog in his garden (in the country)

This seems to be another of those urban myths. The red fox is the only wild relative of the dog in the British Isles - the male is called a dog-fox and the female a vixen - there is no recorded evidence of the widespread belief that a dog will cross with a fox. Thanks for your answer but my friend said that this animal was about the size of a Labrador (he wasn't under the influence at the time!)

Well, I can tell you that I had a Fox/Stafford Bull Terrier Cross, It ate all my Chickens and then Hung by its teeth from the chicken hutch till my brother shot it and it cacked all over his shoes.... But it still llives and we named it lucky larry!! Sorry no pic avavliable yet!!! will post soon thou
