gas and electric meters

can anyone explain nice and simply what happens when you change energy company's! im thinking of changing from n-power to eon for both gas and electric, but my hubby thinks its too much hassle!!! we are on both a gas and electric meter so just wondering how simple it is? hubby thinks he will lose all his excisting credit etc....

It's no hassle. Same gas and electricity, same meters. You just pay a different company. If you are in credit that should be refunded.

If you do decide to change don't forget to take your meter readings at the right time. Don't rely on others getting it right as they will blame each other for any mistake.
