Ethel - any news?

I too am worried that she is ill, although someone mentioned a long holiday, which of course is possible.

I think Joy knows an ABer who knows her (if not Joy herself)... I know it sounds like a friend of a friend etc. However, the post I remember seeing is that Ethel is very shy and doesn't answer phone etc. Hope she is OK tho

I have tried ringing Ethel and it just rings for a long time, then a recording comes on saying there is no reply.

She typed a message on her Skype page saying she has "boogered off" so I wonder if she has gone away on holiday to a place where there is no internet access.

I do have her home address, but if I wrote to her, she won't answer if she's away (doesn't sound right but you know what I mean).

It's hard to know how much to get involved, as she might feel miffed if she has just gone away on hol, and we are trying to track her down.

Respect her privacy by all means but general questions to the librarian would throw some light.

If you find out anything Mrs C could you put it under Law so I don't miss out.

Poor lady sounded quite ill last time we communicated. She did have a long hol in Tenerife, then a new kitchen....months ago.

I am worried as we spoke a few times off AB, and I feel that she would've told me about another holiday, if she had one planned. It's baffling. Wish I lived nearer her and I'd go round to her house.
