dogs eye...looks like she been crying
My rough collie has had a runny eyethat makes it look like she is crying in one eye. I have bathed the eye and wiped the tear marks away but it keeps coming back. Now the inside corner of her eye looks red and sore where it has been watering from. Would anyone know if there is anything else I can do. I do have some Tea Tree ointment but worried about putting it on.

If you can't see anything, then a trip to the vet will be necessary. Unless anyone else comes on to say about the tea tree ointment, I wouldn't try it unless you know that it is ok to use.
Apart from actual eye drops, the only thing I would ever put in a dogs eyes is something called Colloidal Silver, which can be used for all sorts of ailments.
However in this case I would definitely take her to a vet and get it checked, in case it is something in the eye and so she can be referred to an eye specialist if the vet thinks it is an eye condition.
