My 607 (52 plate 2.2 diesel) has problems. Faults showing are ESP and emissions which have de-mobilised the turbo.
Main dealer has diagnosed that the fault is a diff. pressure sensor and snapped pipe(s). This will fix the turbo but the other faults will have to be diagnosed after fixing the sensor.
The bill is 300 (inc diagnostic fee) for the sensor fault alone.
At this rate the repairs are going to be more than the value of the car!
Are they being fair.
Any mechanical or garage advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, sorry no answer but have identical problem I think - '53 2.2 HDi 607 with 140k, keep getting messages 'clean deisel filter (FAP)' and 'anti-pollution system defective', and after a few miles the turbo cuts out. Works OK for a bit after a restart though. Local mechanic has just serviced and topped something up in the emission system, reset ECU and so on - but no luck and main dealer has said the particulate filter needs replacing - apparently they do it every 70k miles as a matter of course. Currently looking for a pattern part as opposed to pricey Pgt option - I'd be interested to find out (a) if there is a direct link between the emissions and turbo faults (b) why does the ECU say 'clean ..filter' - can it be cleaned, or does it have to be replaced? (c) sources for good, cheap parts. Thanks
