Do you want to live forever?

It occurs to me that in our society we strive to prolong our lives. The mortality rate is much higher than 70 or even 50 years ago, however what is the quality of life for people in their eighties?

I welcome your thoughts.

I think that as long as I am relatively mobile and mentally astute I would be happy in my old age and would detest being a burden on family.

I want to grow old quite disgracefully, no going quietly into the night for me if I can possible help it.
