2000 vectra knocking noise??

hello i have a x reg vectra and theres a loud knocking noise coming from the rear when i open the back door step in and bounce it up and down the noise is there i can hear it its very sort of creeky knocky noise and the noise is there when im driving too????...i thought it was the exhaust knocking at the back at first because thats what it sounded like??? but its not the exhaust for sure

On the offending side, check the shock mount rubbers within the boot top, also the retaining nuts for tightness.

broken spring ?or rear trailing arm bushes which are common problem on these vehicles.
