what's wrong with my wedding ring???
3 Answers
so i went to a jewellers and was measured as a W. i went to a different one the following day and measured a Y.
a week later just before i bought the ring online i went to another (very reputable) jewellers who confirmed i was indeed a W.
I bought a W, when it arrived it was too tight so i went to the jewellers who confirmed the ring was definately a W but i actually measured an X. Three different jewellers said the same.
i have had my ring altered to measure an X and now it has arrived it feels too tight.
all times i have been measured i have used the same width of ring.
can anyone please tell me what is going on???

If you a measuring for a narrow curtain ring type they should use that type of measuring ring. If you want a wide ring they should have the wider type. If they band is flat it will habve a different measurement to a ring that is D shaped as that has extra room because of the concave inner. It is quite an art to get th correct size whicch is why doing internet shopping for somethings can prove frustrating.
